My opinion of great albums changes alot, but i think Blue Lines and Mezzanine both by Masssive Attack are both worthy of some mention and are kinda timeless.

Leftism by Leftfield is also actually. And Fluke - Risotto. And Way Out West's First Album. Obviously Kraftwerk and LFO now also need a mention for their obvious influence.

Next week I'll post you a link where you can legally download the new Hugh Cornwell album. A its a real departure for him, which I think that some of you might like. It was recorded in Toerag studios by the fella that produces The White Stripes. If you like them, you'll love 'Hoover Dam'.

Saw the big man for the first time last year.. wembley arena sellout, it was a hell of a showpiece occasion, but as much as I hate to say it, the Loafs voice has gone. Glad I got to see the live show before he hangs up the mic, but I think that time may have come.
That said he's playing an open air gig in Bath 4th July - might have to have one more look
