I don't know too much about boxing but this just seems a fake fight to me.  Hatton's homecoming, along with that sky fly on the wall documentary about him, which was pants, the whole thing seems to be a money making exercise for the Hatton family, instead of a "career" making fight.

just as an aside, his career has already been made.
the 'career making' fight was Mayweather.

Boxing is full of these stepping-stone fights. The idea is, he batters him, gets the hype back up then either has another go at mayweather or the winner on June 10th.

Fair enough fella like I say I'm not really into boxing but this homecoming vibe hasn't really hit the button with me so to speak.

Fair play to Hatton he looked sharp.

Really disappointed with the Magic Man, Hatton will take him to pieces if he boxes like that - still, already looking forward to the prospect of that one.

really not the sort've fight he would've wanted 16 days before cotto in madison square garden.

He reminds me a bit of naseem hamed, clearly skilled, a boxer rather than a puncher but still has tremendous power in his shots (Hamed was probably one of the hardest hitting bantam/feathers there has been).

But he's clearly cocky and a bit raw, with a lack of defence which ultimately makes him very susceptible to getting hit. N'Dou was never going to roll over, he's no mug, went all the way with Cotto and of course hatton famously refused to fight him, even gave up his belt because of it!

That said can't see anything but a Cotto knockout in this one now.
