On Tuesday, my wife gave birth to a baby boy, weighing 7 pounds 5 ounces, named Oliver. Was a horrific three day labour ending in an emergency c-section in the end. Scary stuff! Here's the little cutie: http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z3/pagey123/Ollie.jpgNot a wink of sleep last night, but I couldn't be happier.

Congratulations! Your life will never be the same, but in a good way . Pretty tough going for the first few months on the sleep front, but it does get better, honest.
3 days of labour, holy shit!
Enjoy it, when people say they grow up fast they aren't wrong. Only seems like yesterday my little one arrived. He goes to school in September (just in time for #2 to arrive).

Cheers guys.
I'm already witnessing the who life changing thing. The house sounds strange with baby crying noises instead of the television! He lovely though, we keep staring at him while he's asleep, wondering how the hell we made something so beautiful.
Labour was horrific. Worse three days of my life followed by the best!
All the best with number 2 Batch, I really can't imagine how people put up with two of them!

nice one.
Give him a permanent marker tattoo on his forehead.
Or dress him up as a ninja, or a Pirate!!!!

congrats m8b, but you could have got him in a town shirt. Its a touchy subject with the wife at the moment. I'm in talks with the old man to get him one, and then of course it'd be rude not to wear it whenever we see him! When the new shirt comes out next season, will they be selling baby sized ones? I wouldn't have thought so....

one town shirt, one pair of scissors and a sewing machine. I'm sure you could botch something together!

His Mum is a part time Chelsea fan, so there really is no choice to make. Plus, I've got my first ever season ticket this year, so I'll have plenty of opportunity to tell him all about the famous 08/09 championship winning season
