May be a simple one, but whats the easiest way to burn a DVD onto your PC to an AVI file?

What software can I use  - I have downloaded a dvd a nd converted from winrar which is now an Avi file, what can I use to put it onto DVD so it will play ?

I dunno about Chubbs cos I have only burned AVI's to DVD and not the other way around.

To burn an AVI to DVD you first need to convert the AVI file to DVD format, I use "convertxtodvd". It's usually quick download from a torrent, no doubt limewire will have one as well.

It takes an hour or so to convert the file with Convertxtodvd, and then use nero to burn.

All pretty straight forward once you have the software.

Don't use "covertxtodvd" to burn though, as it ain't that good for burning. It converts AVI    to DVD format perfectly though, and then use Nero to burn.
