He is off to Scunthorpe as they have £1mill burning a hole in their pocket from the sale of Martin Paterson to Burnley and he wont cost more than £300k. Apparently it was Colchester that have already bid £300k for him that was turned down.

Thats far far too much. He's OK, but you would want him as the second striker, not the main man.
Cheltenham have actually done well for themselves in the end money wise. But they struggled for goals last season, going to be even worse now.
