as of 04/04/08 when asked if Scotland should be independent: 41% yes  40% no  19% undecided.

And if you had a vote south of the border it would be nearer 90% in favour of the Swetties fucking off and doing their own thing. Scottish fans have always been pissed up trouble makers. I've spent a lot of time in Scotland over the last 5 years and have to say that hasn't been my experience at all.  Not really fair to make comments like 'Scottish fans have always been pissed up trouble makers' and then complain when Scots make generalisations about the English (not that they all do).

The only people that seem to think this are you lot.  The Scots themselves don't consider Rangers (or Celtic) fans as loveable, in fact even the tartan army come in for a fair amount of stick in the media up north.  (I should say not for trouble, but for the fact they portray the Scots as drunken happy go lucky people).

It's some of you lot that are generalising about the old firm fans.  Did any of you hear about the young Celtic lad stabbed to death after the last old firm match by two Rangers fans?  No?  Well I wouldn't call that loveable either.
