I don't post on there anymore... There was a situation where a post of Paul D's was changed as a personal attack on me for no reason. However I did however mention this a few weeks ago and here is the response I got... (Basically no one could be arsed to reply so I'd assume it was dead). I have tried several times to get things going again...
GAZZA
Well L and P pretty much did bugger all this season after the boardroom stuff and people not really being bother so...
I suggest we come up with ideas now and work with the club to get some stuff done next season to improve the matchday experience... when we won 1 in 10 L and P would have been there in the past to try and get things going.... I lost interest after I tried to do something at Lincoln and this was hijacked by the Orange brigade last season.
I would suggest that people are elected again and do L and P properly or not do it at all..
Whoever is chairman then needs to take responsibility and email Nick Watkins and find out what can be done within rules and guidelines etc... we have quite a bit of money in the kitty so we could have some days next season to use the money on....
As ticket prices are set to drop dramatically it would be great if the atmosphere can be improved also.
REPLY
Here we go again
GAZZA erm it's not here we go again... It's a case of, we have peoples money let's do something with it really... It's trying to get everything sorted and open lines of communication now really.... If I didn't mention anything, would anyone else?? I doubt it. We have a board that want to make a "swindon experience" why don't we do something with that??? or do we wait until we are near relegation again??

PLastic Cows indeed, that was a rumour I strenuosly deny, not that i can really remember being in MK last season!
The general group as was is pretty muchdead in the water, for two main reasons:
The politics of trying to save the club caused a few frictions (among friends and between me/Alan and the club)
The H&S issues pretty much meant any ideas we came up with shot down - even ticker tape was banned. We kept getting told they;d work with us but ultimately it's the guy who gives the Safety Cert, who is not a club employee, that has final say and after so many failed attempts you realise you could be having a life instead.
I think there may be a few pounds left but I'm fairly sure it's not the amount on the front, because as you point out, it's not being updated now.
I actually enjoyed the last month of the season, being able to watch a game, get pissed and have no other tasks to carry out. I think the group has changed more to a bunch of people who get together around football. Some now stand together on the TE, others get together on occasion. Sort of a mini TEF but with less use of the word cunt.
I think it served a purpose in 2005/06, which was ultimately to try an help get peoples minds focussed on supporting the team when it seemed all out internal terrace war was breaking out in Kings last few games. We did a few things at the start of last season but it became clear we weren't able to do anything at home after a while and it seemed the impetus behind it wasn't needed away anyway. This season it fell to pieces because much of the group were very anti the Board. I'm sure the new guys would provide the right sounding messages, but I'm not sure the need is there now. We'd probably offer advice if need be, but I don;t know if my wallet and wife would allow it anymore. I remember the Scunthorpe game in 2005 where I cam back home for the day from a family holiday and spent a couple of hundred quid on stuff. Needless to say I was not very popular at home for a bit. All in a good cause though.

as per the above Gazza post, I pretty much advised I was not able to cmmit time to it a long while back and I think there are one or two left who would like to do stuff but I;m not sure the need or drive exists to make it happen. more than happy for people to carry it on.

I've always said I would take over Loud and Proud but it was never voted on or anything.... I've always maintained it is pretty much dead. I would still take it over but... yeah... I think it is dead now! Therefore the money should be either given to the people who donated it or given to the supporters club to support the youth set up or something.
If told I could chair it, I would as long as it was noted then I would get the site up to date for next season. We could have 6,000 fans, lets make a shit hot atmosphere...

feel free Gary. I've no qualms with the concept being revived, just not with me right now. I'd probably chuck in a few quid if I could but the time issue is massive for me now, I'm actually working quite hard now and was a bit of a layabout back then!

Fucking plastics! Only cared about us when we were going for promotion, I think Rob Tuck was last seen in Milton Keynes riding a cow across town Oddly, it seems we were most active when we were doing shit, typical down trodden Swindon fans maybe.

Some of the L&P stuff was great. Yeovil away was pretty good, and City away when we went down. And what happened to that big number 12 shirt thing?!!

I think Gary's post sums up why it started to fail...it stopped being about L&P and started becoming a contest.
I was quite happy to hand out streamers for L&P and orange hats. The 2 concepts were always going to get lost amongst one another but that was just the unfortunate innevitability at the time.

I take this as a victory for Quiet and Ashamed.....I think the defunct L and P should pay reparations to Q and A...and as chairman, commitee, secretary and delegate from the TEF....I'd like to propose we use said fundage on a TEF piss up....all those in favour say Aye

Gazza the first aim should be to do something quite big in the town centre. outside debenhams or something get people to express a interest let them see what its about.
If you do not read the adver then no one will know about the cost unfortunatly
