The Champions League final in Moscow, we are thinking of running a Russian evening at the club, Vodka and stroganoff type of event, where you can watch the football on a big screen."

Sounds like a bizarre idea however good how they're looking at all angles of making money etc.  Would this kind of thing get people in though?

I don't think this will be a success... but events of this ilk would be a good spin off and money earner i'd think...

If they did themed evenings during the Euros I'd prob go to one of those to watch the game providing it was well organised and well publicised so plenty of people were there.  Loads of potential themes there.  Spanish night with Paella would be a winner for me!

That sounds like a mint idea. Not sure it fits in with the sort of people who want to watch the champions league final.

There is (or used to be anyway) a tidy little Russian resturant in Exeter. Not the sort of place you'd want to go every week, but I frequented it a few times and enjoyed myself. Food was a bit different and they had a rather large selection of vodkas.

I'll watch the game, supporting who ever is playing against Manure, even if it is Chelski.
Trouble is for us out off towners, if you are going to drink you have to get taxi's & trains & TBH, it is a no go from my point of view because of that.

Sounds ace. I think the Euro ones would be even better though, if only for the improvement in food.
