Its getting towards a warm weekend, and this looks like the first warm weekend so far this year, this always brings back great memories of the free concerts scattered around the south of england. oh such great memories, how about going back to those days of peace and happiness, so for you old druggies (no I never touched them honesty love), long haired loving people of that era, lets have some classic tracks.

Heres a starter from Mott The Hoople ....

Summer has always = a bit of classic Smokey Robinson for me.  Ever since I can remember it's been my one of favourites.  It was always a toss up between that and the muppets on my Dad’s record player.

Tracks of my Tears clip taken from the Platoon soundtrack and schmoke scene and possibly one of my favouritest movie scenes ever

m your only friend
Im not your only friend
But Im a little glowing friend
But really Im not actually your friend
But I am

Blue canary in the outlet by the light switch
Who watches over you
Make a little birdhouse in your soul
Not to put too fine a point on it
Say Im the only bee in your bonnet
Make a little birdhouse in your soul

I have a secret to tell
From my electrical well
Its a simple message and Im leaving out the whistles and bells
So the room must listen to me
Filibuster vigilantly
My name is blue canary one note* spelled l-i-t-e
My storys infinite
Like the longines symphonette it doesnt rest

Blue canary in the outlet by the light switch
Who watches over you
Make a little birdhouse in your soul
Not to put too fine a point on it
Say Im the only bee in your bonnet
Make a little birdhouse in your soul

May have little relevance to the thread, but I like the tune and so therefore fuck it.

Oh yes, brilliant, I remember watching the Stones in Windsor at The Ricky Tick before they were famous, awesome days.

I've rediscovered The Who this week, so I have spent most of the evening watching this over and over.

I saw them at the Rose Bowl last summer, they were quite good... despite having replaced most of the original line-up. Pete Townshend is still doing his windmills. Cool
