ok, so the majority of you are way too young to remember this system. However, whilst giving the old house the once over, I found this machine (in the box would you believe) which I received from santa circa 25 years ago.

I have pitfall, pacman, centipede, asteroids, enduro and my favourite all-time classic of all-time, phoenix.

Now finding this machine is a bit like looking through old photos when you come across em-you've just gotta get em out.

I've got the joysticks but I cant find the adapter aaaarrrghhhhhh   -i'm off to maplins as i'm like a dog with a bone(r).

Oooh. I would have loved a 2600 when I was a nipper. I used to hang around in Dixons (or whatever it was) playing on the demonstration version for hours. It's probably the machine to blame for what I do now.

Actually that was probably the Spectrum. Anything else and I might have actually learnt to programme games rather than just criticise them.

I just rabout emember the Atari although I was well away on Sir Clive's finest back then.

I think I still have an old, old first pong style tennis console knocking around as well.

I'm far to young to remember it, but I still love old video games and stuff.

If I wasn't a lazy unemployed waster and alcohol and fags suddenly became free, I'd collect old stuff like that.

Earliest console I had was a 16 bit Sega Mega Drive.... Far too young!

I've got a Master System kicking about. £10 in the charity shop. Bargain.

I think my BBC Micro died and got ditched when I moved house several years ago. Shame, I've got a sudden desire to play Chuckie Egg properly with the BBC's quality clunky keyboard. It's easily emulatable and there's a near perfect remake kicking about but it's not quite the same.

I'm so going to spend the afternoon seeing if I've still got the brains to complete Granny's Garden. The Dragon feeding logic puzzle used to always screw me over as a kid.

This is what you get if you've got too much time, and you've made a playstation controller converter for the commodore 64.

You might want to fast-forward a bit, the dude likes the sound of his voice a bit too much.

I remember their afro hair but mein gott, how slow is that? All the noises are seared into my brain though as if branded there by Drummond and Ritson themselves.

I'd really forgotten how bad 8 bit sound was...
