Does the volume of responses answer your question?
I hate the cunts, I hate the cunts so fucking much that I want them to come up again so we can play and beat them.
I hate the cunts so much that I almost love them.

I must admit I've stopped checking their results but that may be more to do with the position of Bristol City. I don't hate City as such but I'd rather they didn;t get to play in the Prem if it's all the same.
We'll know it's gone when someone posts about wanting the plucky non league team to win the Cup 3rd round in a few years I suppose, and it turns to be Oxford playing Barnsley or something. Motty will visit the Kassam and interview Oxford's heroic centre forward who just happens to work part time on the roadworks on the A34 to Newbury.

I don't think the rivalry will die. I've only ever seen one game between us and them and I will always consider them our main rivals. Its a good laugh to have a rivalry with City and Rovers when we're playing them often enough, and I reckon just one game against Oxford would bring the hatred back

To suggest dropping Oxford as our enemy is insane.
If I see or hear anything associated with that club I get angry

Oxford is the only match when I walked back to town, every 50 yards or so some blokes come up to you questioning whether you're "local" or not - i.e. looking for a rumble. We ended up being confronted not 20 metres from next one sunny afternoon in the end.

There's been a bit too much talk about all this recently :x The basic fact is no matter how low those fuckers go they are our true rivals. So we haven't played them for a while so what,we 'll play them again.I know there are younger fans who've never seen us play the pox but there really is nothing like it.Nothing compares in any way with the depth of hatred i have for those fuckers in yellow and blue. And not just cause i'm from poxfordshire either. Its just because.Lets just get a grip and not worry about it,it really is a non issue.Otherwise we'll be going on about how cheltenham or mac dons are derby games next for fucks sake :-))(

If they get promoted next season, should we try and get relegated just so we can play them again? I mean let's face it we're never going to win any major competition, surely the most important achievable thing for the fans would be doing one over our proper rivals a couple of times a season.

they still hate us with a passion so we must continue our hatred of the scum too.
i for one hope we do get to play them again, as i love the rivalry with them. On that basis, we should also loathe Gillingham. (And I can honestly say I couldn't give a rat's arse.) not really is it.it is a mutual loathing that is still quite fresh.and is different to gillingham due to the location. oxford are for me without doubt our most hated rivals.and vice versa would be said by them.

I think we should get relegated to the Conference, and then win it easily. Not only will we get to thrash Oxford twice, but we'll show them how easy it is to win the bloody division that they are struggling in.

I'm not sure what the rules are in the conference, but if we drop low enough aren't we aloud to drink pitch-side? I really think the football club has its priorities wrong.

Good point Ben, I believe it's number 11 on the ten point plan

Weve always been too soft on Oxford. They are always absolute cunts to us.
Anyone who has been to an England away game knows what they can be like. Seen them be totally out of order on many occasions.
Saying stuff like this just makes you look like a mug because sooner or later you will come into contact with them.

The problem for us is we are historically the superior club in the rivalry, therefore we don't seem to have the hatred of them that they do for us. Some town fans dislike Oxford, but the oxford fans I've come into contact with loathe us with an absolute passion.
We need some of that passion.
