.......................Squeeze.
Brilliant band with fantastic songs.
Just a sample of their lyrics:
'..................I ask her lots of questions and she hangs on to the wall. I kiss her for the first time and then I take her home, I'm invited in for coffee and I give the dog a bone.......'
Difford and Tilbrook, possibly the most underated songwriting partnership ever....................................

If I had hair and it was ginger, I'd shave it all off I thought we were friends Birdy. I feel hurt and abused..........

I love squeeze, fantastic songs, another example of great lyrics of theirs.....
We moved into a basement With thoughts of our engagement We stayed in by the telly Although the room was smelly
or
I bought a toothbrush, some toothpaste, a flannel for my face Pajamas, a hairbrush, new shoes and a case. I said to my reflection, Let's get out of this place.
great lyrics.
I too rediscovered hair....it was in my arm pits....I dont miss it!

I saw them at the Oasis with Eddy & The Hot Rods and Radio Starts back in 79 I think. Not a bad night but not quite as good as seeing Dire Straits support Talking heads at the same venue.
