Fuck me what an atmosphere in cardiff, watched it in rileys totally bollocksed.

Must have been bloody close, I suppose calzaghe was always trying to force the pace so he deserves the benefit of the doubt although hopkins must have landed the best 4 or 5 punches. Didn't realise BH was that much of a cheating fucker though, calzaghe should have properly hit him in the nuts and then see how he reacted.

It was never gonna be an easy one for calzaghe.

The thing that annoyed me the most was the ref. What he was allowing hopkins to do was fight the same fight that ricky hatton wasnt allowed against mayweather.

joe cortez is an absolute disgrace

Amen to that, Joe Cortez has always been a "homer" and believes his own hype too much, he's the Rob Styles of boxing

i think cortez is a bit of a dude and i'm of the opinion that you need a big character in the middle of such big egos otherwise it just wouldnt work.

i didnt realise Hopkins was so quality still and you can see why, even at the age of 73 or whatever, why he was one of the worlds very best in his prime.

bring on roy jones jr, now that will be on a completely different level to hopkins i recon.
