Just been reading on the BBC about most likely places to be burgled and looks as if us here in Swindon are pretty safe.

Following Guildford for the least risk of home thefts were Dundee, Norwich, Swindon and Bath.

Just found it quite interesting.

I was reading that earlier, sounds like everyone in Nottingham gets broken into annually.

Or perhaps a hotbed of buggery?
I suspect quite a few back doors get kicked in!

When the police were round after someone tried to break into mine a few months back they were saying that they've made the effort to try and get it in control, and that generally they have a good idea that out of a few people who it's likely to have been at any time. Which means that it's only a matter of time before they get the evidence for some convicting goodness or something.
I thought they were just bigging themselves up, but then a week later there was a thing on points west saying that compared to Bristol, burglary rates in Swindon were down a shit load.
