"While drink-driving cannot be condoned, Norfolk Constabulary are notorious for their over-zealous outlook to road traffic offences. Last year, the editor Football365 was charged with speeding after being caught driving at 37mph in a 30mph zone at 9.20am on a Sunday morning. The only other vehicle on the road was a tractor two miles way."
What a spacker, why'd you put that in your article?
I 'speed' all the time but I accept the potential aggro that goes with it, it's the same thing when people bleat on about parking tickets when "I was only there for 5 minutes". Them's the rules, if you break them and you get caught it's tough luck.
Grrrr.

Oh yeah I forgot that rule in the highway code that states
"If you can clearly see there is no other vehicle (motorised or otherwise) or the road, within two miles, you can add ten miles per hour to the limit, without fear of prosecution".
Also if there was no other vehicle within two miles, how did the copper get there? (I do accept the police car may have been "off road", but still).

Made me laugh about the editor. The comments below it sum it up! Especially liked the "if you hit a tractor at 30mph..."

I like the way that his/her main concern was the potential of another vehicle using the road. If it was a 30mph zone it was likely to be a residential street and therefore a risk for pedestrians/children - fucking wanker.

The only time I agree with the editor's comments is when you hear about people travelling across the US or Australia and you hear they've been done for going slightly over the conservative speed limits in the middle of the desert.
Even then though it's as Dave says, you speed, you know there's a chance you'll be fined, simple.

vElGuapo4 "If you hit a tractor at 37mph, there's an 80% chance it'll die, hit it at 30mph, and there's an 80% chance it'll live... " i liked this comment

Cant beleive some of you lot getting on your high horse about the fucking editor of a website having a little moan when the main story is the comedy gold of
-A footballer -in just pants and T shirt -driving to the training ground -so pissed from the night before that he thinks he's got training on Sunday
Moral judgements aside I find that thoughoghly entertaining.

speed camera? Surely not, you'd slag off the use of speed camera's wouldn't you rather than blame Norfolk police. It must have been a copper with a speed gun at the very least. Not just a lonely yellow speed camera doing it's job.
