C.V.'s should be pretty straight forward really, and should be only one page (Although a 1 page cover letter is acceptable if necessary).
All they should show really are your education, qualifications and work experience with a brief description of your job responsibilities.
The whole point of a C.V. is for the employer to tell at a glance whether or not you have the necessary qualifications and experience. With this in mind presentation is very important *States he obvious*
I'll have a butchers if you like. I can't claim to be a pro although I did do research before knocking mine up and recently it has earned me an interview for every job that I have applied for.
I still need a new f'in job though :? .

Covering letter and one page tops. I bin anything longer.
They'll decide if your stats get you an interview where you can then go into more detail.

Bear in mind that the point of a C.V. is not to get you the job, but to get you an interview. All that a C.V. should show is your qualifications and experience. THATS IT. Considering that a company might have many applicants for a position they want want to be reading through 3 pages and they may not even bother reading it, it will also show that you have not bothered to do your homework on making a C.V. 1 Page is the rule, with a cover letter acceptable ONLY IF NECESSARY. |
