I read that earlier.

From the same school of business as our former "general manager" No wonder they managed to strike a deal.

I have never managed to get my head round why we went with a regional firm like Kingswood when Conference sides are attracting far higher profile sponsors.  Granted a higher profile of sponsor doesn’t equate to more money in the bank but it’s hard to believe that a regional firm was the best offer on the table.

Brown envelope time perhaps?

I thought that bit of Kingswood had gone bust anyway. Just goes to show you can't trust some sauces (sic).

Or did the previous board sign a million year deal?

This is one of the questions Jeremy Wray answered at the Trust meeting and he confirmed its one of the things the new board are looking at - to improve the quality of our top-level sponsors. Although I don't think he used the phrase "bin them off" per se
