He mopped up the shit given to him though, so bad were things he had to play himself.  McMahon had 1 maybe 1 1/2 good seasons with us but then dismantled the team and replaced them utter shit like Elkins.

Sturrocks average is quite low given it was pretty much mostly a promotion season from the bottom league.  Early days, but Malpas' record hardly suggests the witch hunt some want to begin.
