any thoughts?, to be honest i was quite impressed by both although roberts still does not look himself, the partnership could work a treat when parkin goes but knowing swindon i doubt it!

Roberts looked like he really could not be bothered to play. That might possibly be because he's unfit. Fallon was superb though and should have got a goal, I think Fallon needs a goal before the end of the season to boast those confidence levels for next season.

I'm certain he's gonna score soon! He's come so close a few times already and really deserves one.

Roberts wasn't his best but I'm sure that's because he's unfit. Hopefully the summer break wiull give him the chance to get back to normal and be alongside everybody else when they return for pre-season.

The thing with Fallon is that if he does score then he scores a couple and usually continues this scoring run for a few games (for example Stockport away this season and Luton away last season). Then he stops scoring and we have to wait another 6 or so games again.

I thought that was the best I've seen Roberts play since the op. Fallon was good again.

He does seem a yard slower than before though, a good pre-season should sort him out hopefully.

I still thought Fallon looked cumbersome.  Near the end of the match he was more interested in clapping the fans than chasing the ball down.  true, his work rate has gone up but I'm still far from over joyed with the new Rory.

He's never going to be as good as SSP is he?

I'm just happy that he's playing like he means it now. In his current form he'll cause teams problems, and it wont be long before he scores again. He'll always look cumbersome, but most target men at our level do.

Sorry dude just seemed like you though that's what you were getting at.  Rory's definitely improved, but I'd still say his first team selection hangs on the thinnest of threads.
