Nice one Sonic - don't stuff it up now, and don't have overly ambitious expectations for a few months
Get your head down and clear any probation periods before you start making waves or getting too ambitious, and make sure you get a contract signed ASAP.
If you can make it through the first year it gets difficult/expensive to get rid of anybody. I'd keep well away from the forums in the early days at work too.
