anyone got a ford focus ?

need a bit of help.  got a ford focus, which has a bizarrely complicated key entry to the bonnet.  went under there at the weekend, got in OK, but the lock was all seized up and now i only managed to get it shut by bending the bugger with a screwdriver and then stopping it all falling to bits by hammering a wine cork down there.  It holds for the moment, but obviously need the lock replacing - any one have any experience of this, know what it might cost ?

alternatively, i haven't got round to buying a hanes manual, but if anyone has one and wants to have a squiz if it has a 'bonnet' section i can decide whether its worth getting one and doing it myself.

Just sounds like the lock is seized, shouldn't need replacing, just coat it in plenty of WD40.

no, its fucked - i know its fucked because i fucked it.  It was completely seized, but had to get acces right down inside it to squirt some oil about, which meant pulling the housing apart.  was full of bits of broken window glass, rather strangely !
