i was a little harsh there i guess, i dont think Smith is shit, he just (in my opinion) is not as good as Brezovan, yeah Smith was good last season.

Drogba and Terry were being total cocks at the end. :evil: Ye, it did seem a bit wierd that the ref blew the whistle right in the middle of an attacj which saw them almost score, and if they had scored would have been dissalowed, most refs normaly wait for the attack to finish. ahh well. |

Talking of amusing matches did anyone watch Real Madrid V Getafe last night? Was funny as Real scored and 6 of their players went running to celebrate their goal. Unfortunately, they had failed to realise it had been given as offside and within 29 seconds, Getafe had taken a quick free kick and scored at the other end! The look on Robbens face was an absolute picture.

The ref played 1 minute more than the 3 minutes injury time anyway, if time's up time's up. Anyone see that world cup match where the english (or possibly welsh) ref blew up when a team took a corner (and subsequently scored from it). Huge uproar about that in the 70's, but it's tough. As for Madrid, I did have the pleasure of watching that horrible club get beat last night, couldn't have happened to a better club. Come on Barca!! |
