Well I went here for the first time on friday to have a gander. Blimey was I jumped on!! I only wanted a look around! In the end i had to be firm and say they I just wanted to look. 'Are you sure sir that you don't want to go out in it?'.....grrr. Leave me alone!

Anyhow, there was a very nice golf there, any horror stories for from the place/experienced. It all seems a bit dodgy to me. But the prices are so reasonable. Too good to be true.

Saw them featured on Don't Get Done Get Dom a while ago. They flogged some woman a Golf GTI with a guarantee it had never been in any accidents etc, she pranged it after a month or so and it basically fell apart because it had been severely crash damaged and then bodged back together.

If you buy from them it might be worth getting one of those independent inspections done.

I was working there when they first started up (as electrician not for them) and they are very hard sellers one couple were chased after when they walked out without buying anything and another elderly gentleman bought a car even tho i dont think he really wanted too, salesman even helped him to get his bank card out!

I hate sales people. The sales guys at my work even try the sales charm on us at times to try and get their delivery targets.

The cars were well prepared before they go in showroom any marks sprayed dents removed etc, glossing over things springs to mind.

Once visited that Carcraft place in Newport.  You went through a turnstile type entrance, pounced upon and then guided towards whatever you said you fancied.  I was actually looking to change my car and liked a couple they had there.  I was then forced to sit down with their financial guru, even though I protested I would get a bank loan etc, finally gave him the slip when I laughed in his face at what he said he would offer me for my car.  Just got up and left.

I am a salesman by trade.

And they are clearly clueless and have no knowledge of closing techniques.

I could write a fucking essay of how they will fail (Asides from the dodgy product). But I won't bother.

There techniques make them WAY WAY too agressive and also very amatuer.

I bought a car from Mazda dealer last year but you still get the feeling they are ripping you off, think they are all the same.

Wouldn't touch em with a barge pole. Went looking in the summer when I got back from OZ and the cars were definitely not right.  The bloke tried to convince us an 05 plate had been resprayed cause of a "scratch" so we asked if that was the case then why was the whole car sprayed.  It was so obvious it had been in an accident.  I asked some questions about the engine based on my limited knowledge and the bloke couldn't answer me as didn't know.  I'd definitely steer clear.

Swindon Motorpark is quite good though.  Did loads for me and had no problems.

I would never buy a car from anywhere BUT a dealership.

Always get full service history if it's used, extended warranty and AA inspection.
