i got a new job today after months of looking, am mightily relieved. now i need a means of transport because the bus is a hassle. am thinking a cheap little weak moped because it will be cheap to insure/tax? how do they compare to cars? i'm used to paying £350ish for insurance and £120 for tax. would love a car but can't afford.

and would auto trader etc be the best place to look?

Auto trader is John Madejski's thing, so although you can look a lot of Town fans wouldn't.

Have you considered one of those bikes with a small motor , which kicks in when you go up hill, or are into the wind....probably just the job for Norwich.

eBay - will be loads on there and you can go see them before you have to buy it normally.

Are you going to hang out in Morrison's car park by Carrow Road with all the chavs?

Look in local paper for mopeds, should pick up a 50cc for about £150 - £300 insurance and tax and petrol is nothing!

Insurance is about £100 a year (TPFT) and tax is £15 a year.
