I suspect that unsubstantiated rumours on a scum message board,  are of minimal interest to most on here.

 Could be wrong mind.

I don't want to see Oxford go out of business, I just want to see them in Conference South.

After all the shit we got from them before the takover i find this very ammusing. Don't want to see them go down though. Would they get the 10 point deduction in the conference? If so they could be in trouble

I wouldn't mind seeing them get points deducted and us get a few bragging rights but them to go out of business?  Nah hope that doesn't happen.

Not only do i not want to see them go out of business, I want them up with us, i miss playing them.

I would imagine they wouldn't get a deduction as that's a rule of the football league isn't it? I don't know whether the conference has such a rule.

Haven't the conference been getting super strict on financial stuff? A few teams have been done recently I think, maybe Scarborough and others. My brain isn't working very well.

I think so. Boston weren't even allowed in the conference because their finances were so shit

The 10 point rule still applies in the Conference (or Blue Square Premier as it's called now). Crawley had 10 points deducted at the start of this season for going into administration.

The conference applied the 10 pt deduction rule before the League did - I think the FL copied it off the conference. Same with the wage cap, IIRC

I thought Crawley were deducted six points in November, not sure it was for admin?

I think it's all just a rumour myself. I occassionally like to pop in and say hello to our "Friends" on that forum, but there only seems to be one thread on the subject which is, as yet, unfounded.

Personally I want them to be up in the same league as we are, just so that we can play the cunts at least 2 times a season.
