Swindonian from birth as were my parents and their parents etc.  My connection with the Town started in 1981 when my Dad took me to my first game and really took off, as luck would have it, at the beginning of the 1985/86 season.  Lived aorund most areas of the Town, schooled at Hreod from 86 to 91.

No other choice on clubs, my Dad was once on the books at Swindon in the 60's so it's sort of in the blood.  He used to get picked up by Eddie Buckley I think, for training.

This really is a great thread as it has led me to discover that Nomoreheroes is an even cooler guy than I previously thought since we have worked out that we went to the same schools and used to play cricket together about 25 years ago.

Swindon born and bred, living just down the road from the CG.

First game against Exeter in '81 (3-1 win), and was an inagural member of the Junior Robins, in '84, paying 50p a game...and haven't missed a home game since.

Born in Longsight Manchester in a family of Stoke and Cheshire desent, lived in Alderly and  moved to Swindon very early, before getting my own place in Lechlade last May and moved to Putney Laandon last December which is a fuckin shithole worst place I've lived so far. Supported Town since I was about 5 as my mum would take me to games as it was the local club and have been hooked ever since.

Swindon born and bred.  The old man is a Glasgow Celtic follower, but no other footie interest in the family.

1st match ever in 1983 or 1984 (I forget) against Gillingham - sat in the top teir of the Shrivvy road stand.

1st full season - Prem, as I could not afford it before then.  Missed the start of the Gorman Div 1 season, but season ticket holder since McMuck Div 2 championship winning season.

I was born in Oxford and lived in Chipping Norton all my life.

My dad's family is from Wantage and have supported Swindon since the 1940's. When I was 4 years old I was took to my first match and the love affair started.

Originally I come from Liverpool, but have wandered the country like a nomad.
The Airforce brought me to swindon some 20 years a ago, and I've been here since,

went a few times in the premiership days , but it was my lad going to the footy in the community and coming back with match vouchers got us hooked and we have been season ticket holders for the last 5 years,.....and we still comeback':D'
