Its considered a mortal sin of course, and so the law probably stretches back to the time time when the church was powerful. I'd suspect that it would be kept for insurances purposes too. And I agree with Bushey Boy, suicide, except only possibly in the most extreme circumstances is a very selfish act. And I have sympathy ONLY for their family and friends. |
