i had a go on a wii and think its fun but its limited and i'd tire of it.

Horses for courses I guess. The beauty of the Wii is even my Mrs and little one enjoy playing it. It's that simple to use Smiley

I'll be investing in a PS3 soon too (at £269 rude not too). I'll mostly use this as a media hub for streaming DivX/Mp3 from the PC and watching blueray DVDs. I'll probably play the odd game too.

i have just got a wii game called zack and wiki treasure something or other, and it's really good. it's just like those old monkey island games you used to be able to get. i give it 4.3 out of 5.

Think you might be right. I've had a confirmation email, so hopefully they will honour that price.

I hope it's better than the gamecube one. The racing on the N64 was pretty good but over all the original is still the best. Mainly for battle mode. Which can get super epic.

Anybody played Metroid Prime 3 on the Wii? The first Gamecube one is superb. Haven't played the second one, but have been chilling on Super Metroid on the Snes. Which is also superb (I think you can get it on Wii Virtual Console). The original nes jobbies are on my list of things to play. But I'm on a Fallout marathon at the moment so it'll be a while.
