I don’t boo strurrock but apart from working hard what does he add to the team. He is not fast, cant head or hold up the ball very well and his finishing is usually poor. Really shit game today and the flat performance really affected the crowd. Mark little was superb for them, for us I thought peacock was mom however crosses were not defended well and we so need a centre mid that can put his foot on the ball and dictate play.

Hes just not a target man, saying that I've been very impressed with Blair the way he holds up the ball waiting, and waiting and waiting for someone to move into the space. He is not blessed with pace but he does have a football brain.

just a shame no one ever gets into that space.

so many times he works the channels and loses the ball because there are no options and he's waiting and waiting.

Cant cross it into the box for the same reason, no one there!

Blair is OK and has done a great job for a back up striker - but don't forget we have Paynter and Cox to come in

Our fans really are retards sometimes. Do you reckon that if we had better fans then we'd be higher up the leagues? Who knows.

People often say that fans are the only consistent thing about a football club, does that mean our fans aren't as good as anybody who's higher up the football pyramid?

In a perfect world, we would perform like we did against Forest, but it's not going to happen. You're going to have games like today, where it's a tight scrappy match, but at the end of the day, we've continued our unbeaten run, and still only six points off the play-offs, with two games in hand.

I have said this before on another thread.

But I remember us being top of the league, under Steve "I'm a cunt" McMahon.

We had a home match in the Mickey Mouse cup at home to Hereford, Chalkie scored the winner from Hereford (To a standing ovation from most town fans).

At the final whistle, when we lost in a completely insignigicant competition and despite us being top (Going on to be champions). About 10 dicks started to boooooooo.

My mate pulled me away, good job really as even if I was a big chap then I was outnumbered by 10/1.

In saying that though at least they where there, and at leasy the twats booing today where there I.E. paying their hard earned.

As much as I agree with you Fred, we can't afford tp be fussy. At least not until we make it to the Prem in which case alot of the 'supporters' are wearing Manure, Arsenal, Chelski tops ect.

Couldn't agree more, it wasn't pretty, its a point gained not two lost. I think all the hype towards this weekend just deflated us all when we found out Cox wasn't playing
