..Colin Calderwood get on Saturday then?

Be a bit of a strange day if Fitton and co do their bit, then Eminem gets a welcome too.

I'd like to see CC get a decent reception though, the word is over used nowadays but he is without doubt a Swindon Town legend of the highest order.

Little known fact about CC, looking back on his career he regretted signing for Spurs, he always felt he should have signed for Hoddle's Chelsea, which I was surprised at when I was told.

CC is an STFC legend and I am sure he will get a heroes welcome coming back, and yes it is a shame that Eminem shares the day as I fear CC will get a better welcome than Eminem, which would be harsh IMHO.

Top bloke and I wish one day he will return to Swindon and manage us, I was at school with Karen his missus at Hreod Burna, she was a class tennis player with very good legs!

He'll get a good reception, and he deserves it.

You get chavs in every stand.

Easier to just ignore them.

I'd love to here a chorus of "Oh Colin, Colin....." but not sure if that'd be appropriate!

I should think that would be highly appropriate.

I get annoyed at the way Swindon supporters get on the backs of ex-players who did nothing wrong while at the club, but to abuse a man who did as much right as Colin Calderwood would be disgraceful. Besides, one day - by hook or by crook - he's going to be our manager. It is written.

He wont get abuse, he'll hardly be noticed by most of the crowd.

He knows we have great respect for him. I remmember a game against Northampton about 2001 he was playing and everytime he came over to the south stand warming up before the game the fans (about 300) were clapping and singing his name.

Most of the kids wont even know he ever played for us.

I'd agree with that.

CC should get a polite welcome but we need to make some noise for Maurice.
