Barnet will beat us, the players dont give a toss, end of the day they should be putting themselves in the shop window to other clubs when we go bust,.

You really are a knob Gary Stanley.
Its true though, why is he a knob?

Would you be inclined to work if there was a very great chance that were not going to be paid for it?

Probably not in my job as I wouldn't get something similar, however in football there are scouts etc circling like animals to pick up the scraps that are left over. i do feel for the players dont get me wrong, I am sure they are worried. I paid fora  season ticket (more fool me) and I wont even get to see the whole season so..... As a footballer why wouldn't you try and do well to get another job after???

Because he's all histrionic and emotive.  If he really thinks that players feel that they can walk into a new club easily, he's delusional.  They have lives and mortgages and families to consider and the current state of affairs is bound to affect them too.

I know what you mean, but is a decent performance against Barnet really going to enhance their prospects that much?

Talking of which, I am surprised that the PFA haven't got involved, what with players not getting paid and there being a new owner in the wings who would pay them.

Thats it players strike to go with the boycott - though to be honest have they not been on strike for a few weeks now!

Everyone knew the financial stae of the club when they bought their tickets.  If they want to effectively gamble then thats their choice.

I wish people wouldnt moan about not getting to see a whole season etc.  its not like it was never on the cards!
