I had to clear out some space today so went through a box of old stuff which was in my attic (well sort of, I live in the attic but there's 2 sort of giant cupboards to keep mutilated whores in on either side of my room).

Anyway. I found some ace stuff...

Firstly This Tarzan Graphic Novel thing, by Burne Hogarth. The dude's on Wikipedia so it must be quite famous. Some sort of 1972 colour reworking of some stuff he drew in 1950. Seems pretty damn ace. I might have to give it a read later. Fuck knows whose it is or where it came from. Here's some (pretty shit) pictures.

I'll properly scan in a particularly ace page if I can find one.

More ace stuff to come....

Ooh I scanned a page in.

I know everybody's busy with the woe, but it seems that it's only me who thinks that Tarzan is ace.

Here's a scan from a page anyway.

I think that's Tarzan as a baby and his dad's gonna get it.

noooo....

Anyway. I've got more ace stuff.

Also found was a programme from the Tuesday March 7th 2000 game against Huddersfield.

We were on a silly run without a win. Would have been our 20th I think, but we came out and beat Steve Bruces's Huddersfield 2-1 before going on to the famous 1-0 victory away at Charlton on the Saturday.

Of course this was way into the period that our financial trouble were massively coming under a big shining red light of desperation, selling Ndah, Iffy and Gooden (in a double deal to Gillingham I believe) and releasing Walters and Craig Taylor (I don't think we got a fee for him) on free's.

Lucky Brady came along and saved us innit?

Mainly interesting because I rarely buy programmes.

This one was quite a good read.  Especially Quinn's column mentioning the exciting new loan signing of Wayne Gray, along with a half page by old school Adver Sports Editor, Matt Reeder; pointing out that relegation won't be too bad and we can look forward to all the Derby games. Good point Matt.

You'll get people lachrymose FB.   The days of  Pearly Spencer.....the days of Lee Collins.

I recall watching Lee in training after we'd just signed him.....the fact he seemed to be suffering from malnutrition, I took as a positive....all people from Coatbridge must look that way, he'll be hungry having escaped the third world.

The Guardian...coincidently had an article about Albion Rovers....the worst team in Britain at the time, they were impressed to find McMug at the ramshackle Cliftonhil Stadium, watching Albion's star man.

More of a worry is can the TEF survive without a club?

Keep going Ben.

I think we'll all be here until the end of the T'Internet or we all die off.  News Monkey will evolve and it'll be Planet of the Apes all over again.

The statue of Liberty will be replaced by the word cunt or soapy tit wank

Who remembers those ace Game & Watch things from Nintendo.

Oh baby. I'd forgotten about this. It used to be ace fun though.

(c) Nintendo 1986. Awesome.

I'm going to have to get some batteries to play this baby. I remember Game A being pretty shit, but Game B being absolutely immense

And who thought that Nintendo's idea for a split-screen hand-held started with the DS? Shame on you.

I need to get some batteries for this baby. Although the battery cover seems to be missing which is a bit of a pain, It's those little round jobbies and it's quite springy. Some tape might be in order.

Crap, I forgot about this. No worries everybody I do have more ace recovered stuff.

But until then a little side story. The reason I was dragging stuff out from my attic cupboard is that there's some sort of secret door at the back of it or something and Mr. Plumber needed to get in. I'm not really sure what was going on there.

This meant that I had to shuffle over my bed a bit. I can now post on the forums from my bed. This can in no way be healthy.

But it feels ace.
