For once I don't mean the Board. Went to Cardiff on Tuesday to the Crowded House gig and got back to find some cunts had smashed through the fucking patio doors and pissed off with 'er indoors jewellery. Coppers don't hold out much hope and I don't know whether these fuckers try and sell stuff like that in pubs? Would be grateful for a PM some cunt tries selling you any antique jewellery for Chrissie presents.

Sorry to hear about that mate, like you've said even the Police know that there isn't much chance of catching whoever did this.

It happens around that area every year around xmas. I remember Minety had the whole street broken into one christmas. Posh areas are most targets.

Its so sad - the same thing happened to us when we lived in Calne - we even know who did it but the police did nothing - they stole jewellery that was personal to my family and would have no value to anyone else - things like me and my sisters christening braclets.
Makes you wonder what the world is coming too

w00t?! Sadly not worth that much! We're going through the list trying to suss out how much has gone. She had it valued about 20 years ago so whether they'll just apply an inflation factor I don't know. As JFW has said, it's more the sentimental value as some stuff goes back generations. Still, at least it's a good reason not to buy expensive jewellery for Xmas - she can have an XBox with PES and like it!
