can the trust set the wheels in motion for the town to come together and march?Huh?

I doubt they will bother. All they seem happy to do is stand and sing behind the Arkells.
instead of making cheap digs - and this really isn't the time for cheap digs - try making a constructive suggestion.

the funeral march on saturday was trust organised. as were the funny money.

so yeah...not just standing behind the arkells.

Diamandis couldn't give two shits what we do outside the ground.  If the same number were to turn up on his doorstep he might get a little ruffled though.

I agree. Get up close and personal to him and his family. Really frighten the cunt.

how long does it take from a wup being ordered to a company being closed down?

It's beyond that now.

Holt's admitted we don't have the funds to keep trading = insolvent.

That means it's illegal to keep trading and they'll have to call the liquidators in (not that there's any real assets to liquidate).

It's game set and match.

That the man who holds the sway is not on the Board, so protesting serves no purpose now (I thought it did many months ago when we actually thought Wills would listen).  To get the club sold Diamandis needs to be removed.  The only way to do that is show him there is no money to be made, ever, or by influencing him in the only way a bully knows.

Now, I'm far too fucking chicken to do the latter, and to even suggest others should so it on a public forum would get someone in trouble, so for me the only option to so starve the club of any income at all.  Make it seem like it can't survive from month to month with a few cash injections until he finally gets the ground payoff or a sale agreed to someone willing sign away those profits.

The problem is it might end the same way

It wasn't meant as a cheap dig.
The fact does stand though that previously most people, fans and trust alike, were more interested in behind the Arkells than more high profile marches etc.
I admit my post was born of frustration, mostly due to the fact this could of and should of already happened.

Surely the fact they can use the company as a tax write off means it is worth something to them.

Sadly the £ on the table may not be worth as much as the benefit they receive from killing the club.

The only way other clubs have survived at this point in time (Wrexham springs to mind) is mass publicity. We now need the sympathy vote from the footballing world. How we achieve this is not something I am skilled in however no football fan wants to see any football club die.

If it can be made clear through the national press what has actually happened then maybe it may be possible to shame certain individuals into leaving

Kev, understand your frustration & share it. But it ain't the TRUST's fault. It's the fault of the current owners off STFC, & the apathy that has allowed them to continue.

Protests etc just don't work, we've tried it it doesn't have any effect, marches won't do anything, it needs to be something harder.

I hope when we go bust that investigations into why we went bust will put some people behind bars.

I don't blame the Trust for the current situation, never have done.
I do however have little faith in the fact the Trust will organise a full scale march in and around the Town Centre. That was the point I was making.

I think the board have something to hide, hence why they won't sell.

Posted by cambs_Red on thisis just now:

I heard from someone who was at the club this afternoon that the directors had threatened to resign because of Diamandis unreasonable demands. I wonder if they have finally realised what a complete twat he is.
