And I know saying just before I'm heading off to bed is a bit of a cop out. But I'll defend my position tomorrow.

There's nothing left but to come out and say it. Star Trek VI is better than Star Trek II. I won't argue that Khan isn't the greatest character ever, but the thrilling story line and Captain Sulu more than make up for it. Fact!

Night everybody.

I've found the Star Trek films quite good, and find Star Wars dull at best.

They're both better than Superbad, but that doesn't make it a bad film. In fact Superbad is the best thing I've seen in ages.

If you swap the words nerds and men, you could be on to something.

Just to clear matters up!!!

When is the last time that anybosy saw Cpt's. J. T. Kirk or Jean Luc Picard wielding a light sabre.... NEVER. Because they simply can't and they need a woosie zapper gun thingy instead. Ok Spok had his vulcan death grip but a Jedi could do better using only a Jedi mind trick... FUCK YEAH!!!

The Jedi's and that are ALWAYS HARDCORE FIGHTING, with x wing fighters, fuck off great big battle-ships and lasers and stuff. Whereas the star-trek lot just seem to visit new planets, have a chat with the locals and save whales.... THAT'S it, hardly hardcore now is it.

So, for points for star-trek:

1) They could beam up, 2) Cool "Woosh-Woosh" doors on the enterprise 3) Spok's vulcan death grip 4) The Borgs where pretty hard.

= 4 points

Points for Star-Wars:

1) Light-Sabres. 2) X-Wing fighters 3) R2-D2 4) 3-CPO 5) Jedi mind tricks 6) AT-AT walkers 7) Speeder bikes Cool Darth Vader 9) Darth Maul 10) Princess Leiah (Sp?), I would.

= 10 points.

So star wars kicks ass with 10 points to star-treks 4.

SETTLED.

Ooops, forgot about the Klingon's so that makes it 10-5. Still a kick ass scoreline.
