Oh shit, not another IFA on the scene, Lord give me strength.  You CF'd up then Sam?  Or is it mortgage adviser role with a few to become fully qualified.

Did you do your pre budget announcement revision etc?

CF1. Just got back from the interview and it was =  Cool

It'll initially be sales support with 12-24 months of training.

I think I made all the right noises and the MD seemed very impressed.

I'll find out soon if I've got a second interview.

Big IFA company?

CF exams are okay, CF2's a bugger, so much to learn but 3,4 and 5 are pretty straight forward.  You'll be fine mate.  I often think about going down the sales route but don't think I'd enjoy it.

Good luck anyway mate, it's worth a go.

Nope, just a little one. Fairly new to Swindon.

I'd seriously be chuffed to fuck if I got this job. The company sounds ace.

goodluck....im still no closer to finding a new job. im soooo close to just walking out, without having another job to fall into.

Yeah do it - if you cant do it now when you have no major responsibilties - Kids, mortgages etc when can you!

I did it last year - having no job REALLY gives you a kick up the bum to find a new one!!

Oh and by the way good luck Sam

NO NO NO NO NO it is 100 times harder to find a job when you dont have one!

Agreed - you'd have to be pretty stupid to quit with nothing to bring cash in straight away. (Unless you're financially supported in some other way or have significant cash reserves) Even if you have savings, why force yourself to live off them now ?

Without a job you'd also become more likely to fall into another job that you don't really like because some form of earnings would be necessary.
