From Gills O/S

Firstly I would like to apologise on behalf of Gillingham Football Club for the performance that was witnessed today. The result was naturally  disappointing but the level of effort was even harder to swallow. I will admit that I left 10 minutes from the end feeling physically sick and I felt sorry for the supporters who travelled with us this afternoon; they did not deserve to watch that. Because of this I would like to offer those that spent their hard earned money purchasing a ticket and travelling to the game, two free tickets to a home match of their choice. These can be collected at The KRBS Priestfield Stadium ticket office on production of their ticket stub. The Official club supporters will also receive free travel for the next away game to Carlisle on the 20th October.

I've left games feeling a bit pissed off, but I don't think I've ever felt physically sick. The thought of him gagging at their performance amuses me.

Fair enough, but imagine vomiting because of a lacklustre display. The car park would be swimming in puke.

Based on their performance today, I would see free tickets and the prospect of seeing them play another game as just rubbing salt into the wounds.

Think that was the most fun I've had at football for ages, loads of goals, good expansive football - albeit against a terrible side on the day - and some good laughs.

Cox man of the match no doubt at all, closely followed by the young lad in front of me in the Town End - hilarious...

Not tails - he was accompanied by Rich today alongside us - the lad had quite a high voice with a really thick Wiltshire twang to it - 'we are Sturrock's red and white army' never sounded so funny. Cheesy
