Must have been (and still is) terrible. Can't understand how builders are allowed to build in flood planes. Have always been wary of low lying properties, as is the rest of the country now. Lord knows how you and many others are going to get insurance in the future.

We're not on a flood plain though, which makes it all the more frustrating...
