I think Torres was made to look good by the presence of the Crouchmeister alongside, it was certainly an impressive display, but  I recall Steve Abbley having a great game v Preston and being a bit shit after that.

I hate that saying 110% - 100% is all you can ever give

I believe that by drinking a bottle of Lucozade Sport you're able to go that extra 10%.

Watched the Reading Liverpool Carling Cup match last night and all I can say is Torres was superb.

Great Workrate - never stopped running put in 110%

His attitude was also superb as we was constantly getting flattened by the likes of heavy handed Duberry and the ref gave him absolutely no support whatsoever.  Although he was fouled numerous times, he picked himself without complaint and carried on.

Why Raffa hasn't started him in the last two league games amazes me.

I was at the game last night. Completely agree. Works very hard, although his 'european' approach to winning free kicks was ridiculously obvious.

Have to say Convey and Shorey were also brilliant for Reading.

You said I wasn't bad for an alkie the other week. That's as good as likening me to Torres in my book.
