I might have to do some tasty snail hunting one day. Don't you just soak them for a bit to wash away the grit and then cook them in lot's of garlic? Sounds easy. I might add some thyme. That sounds nice. I've had snails once, in garlic they were. They tasted of garlic and nothing else.

Anybody else suffering from I know I've got work tomorrow and should go to bed within about an hour or so but don't want to and would rather stay up drinking wine, smoking fags, watching crap and playing pokemonitus?

nightmare scenario. I've still got to level up Vulpix loads before I let him evolve into ninetails. I should have played more pokemon and drank less.
Off to work hi ho or something.

I ran over one when I was pulling up my drive, so I don't reckon it felt much pain. It looked like his/her insides had squirted across the drive, about 6 centimetres I reckon.
I felt even worse when I saw its Mum and Dad waiting for him to return near my front door. Don't feel bad. It can't have been it's mum and dad, Snails are hermaphrodites.

That sounds nice. Now you're one step away from Masterchef, I suggest a foray into the Cotswolds to hunt down the tasty Roman snail...I know some good places up above Leckhampton...we could pick up Toni on the way....well maybe not the last bit, though she might like to be guinea pig for the Los Gatos snail fest. Apparently the Catalans are quite keen on a plateful.
