I feel a bit bad now.

I feel a bit bad now. I did two coming in from the pub on Friday...don't know what they were up to. PS this should be in the Boardroom section.

I ran over one when I was pulling up my drive, so I don't reckon it felt much pain. It looked like his/her insides had squirted across the drive, about 6 centimetres I reckon.
I felt even worse when I saw its Mum and Dad waiting for him to return near my front door.

I don't look that different. Well I do a bit. But not loads. TBF, Friday was the first time for a while I gave it a miss, due to being severely hammered and having a lot of shit to do on Saturday. I thought you'd probably given up going out drinking, now your work was up to 30 odd hours a week....which is why I hadn't seen you.

What purpose do snails have? They used to leave interesting silver markings on my skateboard. That's about it.

I like snails....think its something to do with Brian the Snail from the Magic Roundabout.....over in the Cotswolds, you can find quite large Roman snails, which were introduced by the Eyetie conquistadors, for eating. Unlike the French we've never really taken to this delicacy on our doorstep. http://notes.natbat.net/wp-content/uploads/2006/11/snailsmall.jpg Roman snail

I felt even worse when I saw its Mum and Dad waiting for him to return near my front door. are you sure that wasn't a child? anyway, no snails have been killed in my household but being the sole resident for the past three days i've been on spider and other bug killing duties. i estimate i've killed three spiders, dozens of midge/mosquito/fly hybrids and a couple of weird looking insects, one of which was nearly invincible. hopefully the rain will get rid of some of the little blighters

I might have to do some tasty snail hunting one day. Don't you just soak them for a bit to wash away the grit and then cook them in lot's of garlic? Sounds easy. I might add some thyme. That sounds nice.
