I don't know as i haven't played either of them but Mario Kart looks good as you can play it online, you can google for a video of the new Mario Kart.

I wouldn't really know about Fifa 08' as they're usually shit (ive played the demo for the 360 and yes it is shit) and im going to get PES2008 for the xbox360.
