oh OK, thanks for clearing up "golden time", I guess we had it but didn't call it that. The assembly thing - I genuinely don't remember the issue, we must have had a bigger "personal space"!
My list, there must be a million things. None of which I can remember now:
- Trying to copy the trick we saw on "BMX beat" using nothing but a brick and a plank of wood to create a ramp - but normally settling for putting your front brake on and impressing you mates with your 'endo'
- School (holidays) TV that was crap but you watched it anyway - Tom Sawyer, Huckleberry Finn , Annie, etc, etc.
- After School TV that was actually quite good - Grange Hill (zammo, gonch, cleever and before that Tucker et al), Dogtanian, uleseyes, Mysterious cities of gold, knightmare (might have been a bit old to watch a few of them

I have a younger sister)
- Playing football and cricket out the back, 6 and out rules if you hit the ball over the garden. Trying not to kick the football over "Tippers" fence as he never gave them back (wanker).
- Kick the can, chain gang, etc - ip dip dog shit to see who was 'it'.
- Crap family holidays camping/caravanning in whatever the wettest part of England was at the time. Actually I don't miss that at all.
-Delivering free papers for some stupid low amount of pocket money. The paper bag was sooooo heavy that Heathrow baggage handlers would be prevented by H&S from picking it up.
- Going to 'youth club', usually getting board and sneaking off to the Abbey Grounds where the smokers and drinkers were.
