I stayed over my cousins' place when I was a lad - they'd just got a magic set.

Being older than me they decided to creep me out and told me they would turn me into a panther during the night - naturally I was terrified and didn't sleep a wink.

Being turned into a panther sounds quite cool Cool

Not being a local lad I used to get so much shit being a Town fan, for pretty much the entire Prem season I went into school on Monday mornings to find the black-board covered in whatever horrific result we'd endured at the weekend.

I used to wish so much that I could live in Swindon so I wouldn't have to endure all that, the Stevenage game was the worst - I really wasn't looking forward to the ribbing that game was sure to bring about.

I think it was all a good test of character now I look back at it.

Yeah, now it does...

I didn't want to have to think about what my parents would do with me if I were a panther, what I'd do for food - would I eat people?  Where would I sleep?

It was all too much.
