Well he's leaving at the end of the week, so he can get away with sleeping.

He should be trying to sign a striker though!! every minute counts.

You remembered when I said I'd rape the face of the next person who started one of these threads? There's been like 5 since then and to be honest I don't like making empty threats. I'd watch your eyes and nose and ears DV. Maybe your mouth if I'm feeling old school.

Turn Google safe search off and put "Ear Rape" into the image search. I dare you. To be honest I haven't tried it but I might now.

Apparently Plymouth bid 300K for Easter and it was rejected. I'd imagine that's a dead deal for us now.

Well Wycombe are stupid, they'll now have to let him go for peanuts in January or for free next summer.

Sturrock is not doing any negotiations!!  He has already stated that the board are negotiating for two targets (one presumes that means Starnes is doing it!), he is dealing with loan signings about which there is not so much pressure as that transfer window will reopen in a week's time.

The problem with leaving loan signings 'til September is that only short term deals will be allowed - ie maximum 3 months and the parent club can recall them after the first month.

Loans done today could be long term - ie until January or the end of the season with no right to recall.

Probably a good thing imao.

He has been useless until last season for his whole career, he only has one year left on his contract ffs?

Wycombe are dickheads, i think they'll end up getting jack shit for him and he'll only score 2 or 3 by Jan.

I can't see anyone paying more than £300k. Fallon was younger and had a scoring record similar to Easter and we were shocked at £300k we got for him. Besides, as Fallon proved, a short lived rich vein of scoring form doesn't mean you don't forget how to score as easily as you discover it.

I think our £125k bid, was about the most you could risk paying for what is really no more than a gamble.
