Just wondering if anyone has a flat screen pc monitor they are looking to sell cheaply or know where I can get one at a reasonable price.
PC screen at home is very dark and nothing I can do to change it - its old and a bit crap anyway so just needing a new monitor.
Any suggestions?

How much/little do you want to spend?
Can get a 17" TFT for under £90

You should make one out of string. With the greatest respect. string cannot cope with a resolution of greater than 640x480 pixels, making it virtually worthless in todays ultra graphic capability GUI's. sorry.

Would it depend on the strings thickness?
What about rope?

New string frequency compression has left the possible resolutions pretty limitless.

New string frequency compression has left the possible resolutions pretty limitless. Only if the hard connections are made with duct tape rather than the often maligned Sellotape
