Striker Jamie Slabber has now officially left Swindon Town, with the youngster joining Aldershot Town until the end of the season.

Slabber signed for Swindon on a long-term loan from Spurs as part of an agreement in the deal which took defender Leigh Mills to Spurs.

However, Manager Andy King decided to allow Slabber the opportunity to speak to other clubs after informing him that he would not be part of the his plans for next season.

The 20-year old joins Aldershot in a promising position, currently sitting second in the Conference.

Lets wait and see what happens, reminds me a bit of a player we let go to the Shots back in 65......Jack Howarth...he was deemed not good enough....went on to be Shots all time leading scorer with 190+ goals in a 12 year career.

Well at least Kingy and the club got a big lesson in this whole thing, taking a great player for the future and not giving us anyone for however long (bout 4 months wasnt it??) and then when we do finally get someone, its a waste of time. Wont be doing that again
