Most insurers won't take foreign insurance policies into account for NCD purposes.
And it's 6 years they have to keep your records for, not 10.
I've been told they do, if you have something in writing from the overseas insurance company. I may well be testing this very theory shortly (well, January) and shopping around a lot!
