Given this a whirl tonight. Managed to lay a bet on at lower odds than the bookie as well so I am happy  :smile1:

It took me a little while to get used to the interface, but it actually makes it well easy to use  Cheesy

Casino bagging works !

£350 up since Friday.   Just read all the T&C relating to bonuses, stick to blackjack, and play to the approved basic strategy (which I'm sure will be online somewhere). Some of the casinos don't allow Blackjack for bonus qualifying. I've ignored these.

Avoid "getminted".  I'd recommend Littlewoods and Intercasino to start with.  It does take a while to get your qualifying bets done, and a bit of patience is required.

Did this about a year ago, made a couple of grand.  A mate of mine is around £30k up from doing it whilst a student, apparently video poker is the way to go with this too, as you have wager higher amounts but can make a bomb.  Grosvenor, intercasino WillHill are all good casinos, the best are the downloads as they play wuicker, the flash ones can be real slow.  If you have plenty of mind numbing time its a sure fire winner.  I managed £465 in one episode of nieghbours once.

Note its rubbish if you are addictive in any way, a mate of mine had to quit after having issues after coming in after the pub and then losing a fortune.

I might have to try this. I've made about £400 from poker bonuses but it's very possible to lose more than that while you're clearing them if you are not very good so it's not definitely not a get rich quick thing and the bonuses are not as good as they used to be now. Overall I've made just over £2500 from online poker now but it took a lot of time to get good. I still have quite a lot of money on neteller, do these sites use that?

What are the minimum qualifier amounts for you to withdraw on those two sites?

I'm gonna give this a whirl I think. I think I have nailed but I want to be sure first.

Are there any tips on finding matches with good matched odds?

Not sure if anyone still does matched betting or not, but I've been doing it quite a bit since being back at uni and have made a couple of hundred quid in the last few days.

I found this website earlier (hxxp://www.bet72.com/categories/Oddsmatcher) and it has a cracking piece of software on it.  It basically streams football odds directly from bookies and betting exchanges (betfair & betdaq - betdaq is currently offering only 2% commission until the end of the year as apposed to betfair's 5%).  The software then compares and calculates how close the odds are at the bookie/exchange and tells you the % return you will make by betting/laying on this match.  The other thing that it shows are arbs (where the odds at the bookie are higher than those at the exchange, so you make a profit whatever the outcome of the game) which is great as these are usually hard to find.

I just wish that I had found this earlier as I've spent quite a lot of time looking around for suitable odds to bet on, and not only does this find the best odds for you, but it saves you a load of time looking for them.

The only point that I would add is that if you are likely to be using it to find arbs and it throws up games in the Russian 3rd division, try to be a bit subtle if you're betting large amounts on it as the certain bookies will know what you're up to and may limit your account!

Bumpage.

So that oddsmatcher piece of kit looks good and makes it all (seem) easy.

Just to avoid any confusion (for me): In addition to the bookmakers offering free/matched bets, the betting exchanges also offer free bets. Am I right in thinking that it is only the free bet from the bookmaker that I need to be paying attention to? (at least for now).

How many sites are there offering free bets? I can't seem to find that many.

Glad I found this.

With employment so un-reliable out here I needed another income and this is beginning to work nicely.

Had a go at this last night, still a bit confused but I think I have it right. I managed to get the same odds on both outcomes; 2.7.

I've layed £15 against a Spain win on Betfair. Total Liability is £25 and it pays out £40.

I've also bet £25 on Spain to win at Stan James, which is matched with a free bet sign up offer.

So If Spain lose, I lose my £25 on Stan James, but gain £40 on Betfair = £15 profit.
If Spain win, I lose £25 on Betfair, but gain £40 on Stan James = £15 Profit.

But wait!! My Stan James bet was matched, so if they win I also get another £40. That's free money.
