I've got to update the old CV and on every occasion the preferred format appears to have changed again.  Could someone on here with a finger in the pie just give me a quick running order and brief overview of what each section should include?

I have presently…

Header – Name, contact details etc..
Summary – Brief overview, skills etc..
Vocational Exp: Dates, overview achievements etc…
Academic: usual crap
Hobbies & Interests: Fisting etc…

I’ve no problem with fannying around with fonts and keeping it down to two pages but no one seems to agree on what the correct format is nowadays.

Cheers

Mine's in the same order as yours Dazzza. Except I've got academic before previous employment.

Ditto for me - try and include some specific achievements in the employment history if possible.

Can't get to my most recent one Dazzza as my mac died, but if you want, pm me with an email address and I'll send you a pdf of the one before.

Format is the same as the last one.

Isn't it fashionable at the moment to cut it down to just one side of A4?
